Kajaani has a wide selection of plots on offer. In the zoned area, there are plots on offer for detached houses, terraced houses and apartment blocks. There are also industrial and business plots available close to excellent traffic connections.
There is a non-stop electronic application system in place for plots, which are assigned through the system. Additionally, application rounds are organised for new areas to help us offer everyone who wishes to build a house of their own a plot they like. Means testing may be applied during an application round, and priority is given, for example, to private house builders who have not previously been assigned a plot in the city.
