A street address is the address of a property or building’s location, including the apartment number or other identifier. The municipality sets the name of a new street or road and the numbers of the plots along it.
The address number will be an odd number on the right side and an even number on the left side of the street or road.
The municipality is responsible for creating an address for a building. The address system is maintained collaboratively by the municipality’s Building Control and Zoning Departments. Address names are planned by municipalities during land use planning.
