Kajaani is an event city. The City of Kajaani organises numerous events every year in cooperation with Kajaani-based sports and cultural organisations and associations. Other partners that the City supports with subsidies for this purpose also organise events. Kajaani has excellent facilities for organising happenings of many kinds both indoors and outdoors.
